The World

Dec 23, 2007

I'm angry at the world as of right now.
You look at the magazines, the billboards, etc. etc.
and then you look at the children you're growing up with.
All they see is sex, fashion, and booze. What the hell
is this world coming to? Do we really want the world to
be full of unrealistic people who are growing up to be
sluts and sexual beasts? Do we want to grow old and have
those type of people take care of us? I'd rather not.
Take, for example, two months ago; I was at a birthday
party for my friend and I look over on the skating rink.
A little girl is dressed in hip huggers and she's dancing
to a 50 Cent song. A little boy walks over and guess what
they do? They dance like high schoolers. Its sickening to
see what the world is starting to become. I can't stand
it anymore. I don't want my kid, if I ever have any, to
grow up like that. I don't want him/her to become something
that everyone else is.
We have bling, we have grillz, we have skimpy clothes for
five year old girls. We have cell phones, iPods, music vids
with guys and girls having sex. Am I the only one that
sees something wrong with that? Like, what the hell? All
you people that think love is a game, that sex is the new
black, that plastic surgery is the way to fix something so
someone will like you, you're dumb. You don't know what the
world is really like. All you people that think you get places
by having sex with whoever you want, you're idiotic. You
don't know how beautiful the world really is, or how it used
to be before everything went down hill. The media is breaking
everything down and hitting the spot that irritates me. Its
like we all have a G-spot that the media hits and suddenly,
we're buying all these things just to fit in.
Well, what if I don't want to fit in? What if I want to fight
against it and make sure my kids aren't like that? Does anyone
else agree with me? Or am I going to fight this alone? Just
ask yourself what kind of person you want to take care of
you when you're ninety or whatever. Is this what you
really want? Or not?
