It's always nice to hear from you and your remarks remind me sometimes what I have forgotten or even never realized.I am sure you are the same in so far as work that you did a long time ago simply because you move on to the next thing and as you do you change not always alas indrawing at least for the better.Thank you so much, people like you who do comment are what makes my day on this site and always I am learning.

i love the idea of an allusion to lautrec
this photo also satisfies the color vibrancy of a lot of latin american art which makes it more enticing to my eye

i like this.
i don't ask to understand it in the way you presented it. I understand it as i see it. I also like the title. i won't try and connect your art to my preconceived notions of balance.
that is what makes art unique.

i wanted to keep the placement of the oz characters as close to the original setup as in the kim phuc photograph, dorothy being the center focal point! i think her serenity and unnatural calm juxtaposed in the surroundings worked well, although i did play around with the scarecrow and dorothy switched to recreate kim's movement in the origional but it just didnt work for me!!!
