Buffalo Gal- everyday is exactly the same.
Okay- I consider myself a pretty friendly and funny person. I love laughing- thats the #1 quality in people that are my friends- life is too serious on its own. I hate anybody being left out. I dont know- its weird being in sort of an existential crisis and then asked to talk about yourself.
Everyone I know keeps pushing me into video- I really like video, and not to be conceited, but Im pretty nifty at it (yeah thats right, I said "nifty") but I dont know if thats who I am anymore. The most I want to do with it is edit like movie trailers and music videos, but otherwise my interests are really turning to graphics. Its hard to break that to some people.

Well, its been a while since I wrote anything...Im becoming more and more weirded out by myspace- I know its the point to stay in touch with people you know, but sometimes I want to write for people I dont know. I dont want some people to read some of it, and it gets too complicated after that. I have a picnic to go to on the 5th, hosted by somebody I knew in high school. My only fear is seeing other people from high school- the vast majority of them being people I didnt really dig too much back then. And I have no date, since Ben Barnes hasnt found me yet
But thats okay, as you get to be my age (I didnt think 26 was all that "old"
everyone is freaking married...give me a break! C'mon, Im saving up to go to Italy to become an Art Restorer, and youre in dire straits trying to "work it out" in a 6-month relationship? Has everyone forgotten what DATING is? Its, to paraphrase Rob Reiner "trying on different people and seeing how they fit". If it doesnt work out, thats it. Fin. Its mind boggling when people stay with their girlfriend/boyfriend when they are both miserable- its not like theyve been married for 30 years with 4 children and should at least look into counseling. Life is too short people- is youre unhappy: MOVE ON!
I also find my lack of romantic opportunities depressing as well- especially since it is summer. Funny, laughing people holding hands and kissing. Sigh- some of the people on mySpace are so disguisting.
Im just about done with the first "Twilight" book by Stephanie Mayer- a friend of mine is insane over them so I decided to read them. And I cant say that I like it too much, so I dont know what to say to her over it. But the main characters are in high school, which is fine ("Speak" is one of my favorite books) but its one of those books where our heroine keeps getting into trouble (the poor girl is kind of a jinx) and everyone is constantly trying to save her etc. That wears a bit thin and I find myself saying "IS she really worth it?" Im a bitch, I know.
Well anyways, maybe Im feeling a little jealous of the character in the book, and a little left behind by everyone else.

I'd like to believe that there is some "larger force," guiding us through life, but I honestly don't know. This is a really stupid reference, but have you ever seen Bruce Almighty? Well, when Morgan Freeman is handing over his control as "GOD" to Jim Carrey, he says that the one thing he has to remember is that even though he has all the powers of God, he can't mess with free will. Though this is just part of Hollywood's glamorization of providence, it seems to demonstrate my views on this subject: God or whoever is up there is watching, but wants us to find our own way in this world. Nothing is "supposed to be." We make it what we want it to be.
