So, here goes. I could be considered a bipolar musician of sorts. I play bass in a hard rock band and I’m also an acoustic singer/songwriter on the side. I call Charlottesville, VA home though I think I’d be happy in any city near water. I’ve been playing music for awhile now, since about ’95. I released my first album, “Starving Addiction”, with a band called Faces Within. We actually had a good run in that band, but after a few years the bad nights were starting to outweigh the good and we decided to call it quits. I kind of swore off being in a band and started writing a lot of acoustic stuff on my own. My good friends Kyle and Matt (both of whom I played with in FW) were getting a new group together called Sciatic and needed a bass player. I had messed around with the bass from time to time so I told them I would help out until they found one... but a few years later... here I am. When I'm not playing shows with Sciatic or working on my own music, I like messing around with film and other visual media. I'm really into editing and shooting small projects, i.e music videos. I'm still pretty new in that area but hopefully I will have some material posted soon. Well, thanks for checking me out and let me know what you think. Take care.
