remember when i held your hand? oh, how strong you were. you taught me very much in life, how to laugh and avoid the hurt. you wanted only the best for me, for you were a great dad. you worked so hard and sacrificed and rarely were you mad. but the days have come and gone now daddy, i am now 22. for it is you that holds my hand now, you who cant tell the who from whom. its ok daddy, you dont have to be scared. i am here beside you, i am going nowhere. your childlike eyes look at me for help like mine did you when i was young. the difference being that my minds here and your memories are gone. -beatriz munoz
