Morning Thoughts

As I currently wake up, my head is filled scattered with the most random thoughts. I am at my desk and now tearing off yesterdays horoscope to reveal todays. It reads " you're the type of person who can do anything you set your mind to. So give yourself permission to strecth and grow, because it's time for some creative expansion." I smile because these things sometimes puzzle me.. Sometimes they can be so far off that you wonder if you are rwading th eright sign. Other times, you may read them, and its so spooky how dead on the are. Today mine is dead on.

When it comes to creativity, why are so many of us afraid to display it? Are we as a people that shy? I don't think so. Could it be that we are afraid that people will laugh at our ideas, and leave us feeling more insecure, angry, or down right frustrated with ourselves? I personally think its a combo of all, plus a large spoonful of laziness.

The creative process can sometimes be long and drawn out. It sometimes requires plenty of thought and planning to sometimes achieve the mission. I see creativity as a gift. Lets all embrace ours and do what we can to make ourseleves as well as our surroundings different.
