Won't be about for a little bit. I need to turn the computer off, disconnect and reclaim my humanity.

See you all in a little while. Best of luck, and take care.

I hear you ... Now that it's been ~4 months since you posted this, it may be a little easier to reapproach the work. That's meant to be encouraging - fresh eyes, you know? - though it could be discouraging, I'm sure (that whole "are we ever gonna get there?" line of thought).

Keep making art.

I want to get with the program! I was just recently talking to my boyfriend about Iraq, our troops and so on. We both agreed that it would be a great idea to move to canada because their not at "war war". And they are so hardcore about peace keeping. But now listening to an actual Canadian resident shine some light to what the media does not mention is interesting. I actually started looking on the net for more info and your facts are correct. I have to say I blame it on our media which we can no longer rely on for accurate information and also on us, society. These days we are being told by our own president Bush to consume more because of our economy making it our priority and diverting our attention to that, and making it seem as everything is ok because war is not happening on our land. Sure the post up numbers of soldiers we've lost but that's it. They forget who's also fighting with us, they forget to mention the number of people we've killed and the number of soldiers that are having problems with their emotions, mentally, and physically that can and has affect their mission over there. I'm glad that they are people like yourself who are aware of this, and who are willing to teach and speak out to the masses of what is really hapenning. So, I want you to know because of that 6 min piece you've changed one person in this world. Thank you. --From California

Yeah, Santa Fe is a pretty cool place to live. It's beautiful, and a really, reeeeally weird town.

I'm a professional editor. It's hard work, no way around it. Giving yourself some time, some distance, which it sounds like you've done, is a good start. I write scripts, which is pretty different from novels, but the main question i always keep in mind is, "does this thing (sentence, line of dialog, paragraph, whatever) advance the story?"

Yes, much more. I think this picture does a nice job of capturing a moment of vulnerability.

Momordica charantia- also called Chinese Bitter Melon or Bitter Gourd- it's edible once it turns green, but it's REALLY bitter. It's usually only found in the Asian subtropics and South America, but you can find it along south Florida beaches too if you reaclly looks for it. I just loved the colors. Scientists are testing it for it's rumored malaria and HIV combative components.

Thanks for the comments and for teaching me the meaning of foclrotflol :P. But how are other social networks not for bloggers and vloggers? There are many that target each individual aspect (MySpace for music, YouTube for videos...), but what connects qlifers is the quarterlife aspect of it mixed with art, no?

Life is TOTALLY AWESOME!!

Feb 20, 2008

I haven't been around much because I am TOTALLY, absolutely, 100% in love with my life! I'm in the studio every chance I get, painting up a storm, I'm reading books like mad, I'm getting ready to apply to go back to school in the fall. I'm meeting some other cool artists in my community and we are planning good, amazing things! I am Alive!
