Isn't interesting when the opposite happens? You know, when you see or meet someone that you don't find attractive or sexy, but after you get to know them and find out you like them, your perception of them changes.

Both are true.

Beauty is our individual perception of two different things – what we see and what we feel.

Too often, people try hard to be poetic in their definition because they are searching for the "A HA! That's perfect!" response.

I think it's not complicated because more and more, I don't think it matters to me what other people's definition of beauty is. I know what definition i have for it and what I find beautiful. I know what I find beautiful may or may not be what someone else finds beautiful - and the thing is, that's okay.

I think true beauty is only a vision we have about exactely what we find attractive. We like things about people and if we find those things in someone, we'll then find this someone truly beautiful. Everything is always related about what we feel. Sometimes, of course, we can be surprise and learn new things we love we didn't know. I agree with Miss sixy, what's true beauty? is the most complicated question!!

MEOutLoud: May 06, 2008 - 08:14 PM PST I've said this in another forum of similar topic, but I still think it holds true "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" with that being said the person who is obviously beautiful but doesn't know it/ flaunt it is even more beautiful to me. There's a lot to be said for the humble. There's a woman at my job by most definitions of beauty she probably wouldn't make the cut her skin is flawed, she has some extra weight, but her personality literally shines through all the time and makes her truly beautiful. She always smiles even though she has endured and continues to endure troubles I couldn't even imagine handling, she's never down or in a bad mood and always knows what to say to make anyone smile or brighten their day including me even when I think it would be impossible to get happy. It makes her the most beautiful woman I've ever met.

So i guess what I'm asking is not only what do you think it means to be sexy but also what is true beauty to you.
