NerveAndMuscle: May 13, 2008 - 02:53 PM PST Alright, I can follow your link to my picture. I can also follow my link, though it shows up as a question mark in the post. What I'm trying to do is write a bit of text, highlight it, click "image", and insert the url in the box. The bit of text does not show up in my post, but the question mark does, and as I said that links to my pic.

I am now able to go to your "Hitchhiker's" link (QLife has been very difficult the past few days; I suspect that Comcast is the culprit), but I could not follow your explanation.

This is a statue of Sam Houston in Hermann Park, which is about 10 minutes' walk from my home. The statue is positioned so that Sam is pointing toward the battlefield of San Jacinto, where the Mexicans were decisively defeated. The statue is entitled "Sam Houston Pointing the Way to San Jacinto". Ironically, and as is shown by my picture, he is also pointing the way to the evocatively named 2001 Holcombe Boulevard, a residential high-rise in the background - and perhaps that was the real future that he was pointing to.

Typical of urban use in Houston.

Where's the link to the work...please watch my vids entitled "Hitchhikers Guide to Quarterlife" if you have trouble using the URL links.

Well, when I click my link, it takes me to the picture. Given the number of views, I think it's likely that others have been able to do that. On the other hand I am unable to follow your "hitchhiker's link". Not blaming you, of course.

IrisFromOhio: April 27, 2008 - 09:31 AM PST I have seen the skyline of LA & it is or can be quite breath taking. What is kind of lamentatious, however, is the more colorful the sunrise & sunset of any place usually means more pollution.

I don't know how you all put pictures on this thing, even using the image button. but here is a shot. If that don't work, then just go here for a view of Amish Country in Ohio civic pride.
