My name's Jessica and I'm a 22 year old aspiring singer from Dayton, OH. I've lived here since I was born. It's a very boring, yet sometimes worthwhile city that I can't wait to escape from. I'm engaged to a wonderful guy and we have a son born May of '08.

Just when you think
you've got life figured out,
something happens
to turn it around.

Just when you think
you're on the right track,
you get derailed
and fall flat on your back.

Just when you think
things are turning around,
something thought to be lost
is unexpectedly found.

You think that they're gone,
that the feelings aren't there.
Suddenly you reminisce
and they're back in the air.

Finding out later
that it was all for the past.
Missing those times
made the feelings last.
