I could be a lovestricken corpse,
And you'd still take my breath away,
Lips sewn with unholy matrimony,
You'd help find the words to make it okay.

With eyes as blind as love itself,
You'd see the epitome of my lies,
Ears that hear only forsaken doubt,
Hear the longing in the harsh goodbyes.

Paralyzed, your captor only of disgrace,
Reluctant, still your time goes on.
Whispering silent love-me-so's,
The dawning of the storm.

In this tornado of suffering,
This hurricane of hope,
Misery love's her company,
The flood has finally awoke.

Earthquake of my heartache,
Tsunami of the fade,
Of these hidden memories,
Where once my heart had laid.

So, unpromise me this promise,
