All right,I'll answer your plea,I'm no poet and I'll prove it by saying and I know it. Your work is a truely magnificent grasp at expressing sincere emotion through the creative use of words.Who could not fail to emote with you, who has not been confused or wasn't in wonder and some times fear of the sounds of nature.and of love ,not being loved, loving too much not knowing one way or the other.....

That's a neat poem. Fairly sophisticated, too. Do we ever know what our trueself is? Aren't we always preparing a face to meet the faces that we meet (to quote T.S. Eliot)? As we get older, perhaps it's harder and harder to recognize our true self. Thoughts?

A Stormy Sea You Are

Confusion, wonder, or maybe rage,
I see it in your face,
It makes me wonder,
Like lightning and thunder...

I don't know if you understand,
I don't know if you think,
Other people would understand,
I want to understand.

Oh, I can understand...
I see the fear in your eyes,
The same fear I have felt,
I still feel that way from time to time,
But I am perfectly alright.

You don't know how beautiful you are,
You won't know unless someone makes you aware,
Oh, don't you know how much I care?!

I must confess,
I love you more,
Than any ruby, emerald, or diamond...

A stormy sea you are,
But I still love you,
Even if you leave me with scars,
Even if you burn out all the stars,
Even if you are so near, but so far,
I will always love you for who you are...
