Too Much Bullshit
There's too much bullshit in this world
Too many bureaucrats with poison in their pens
Too many socialites with blood in their pockets
Too many friends with forks in their tongues
Everyone's alike
We are all the same
Our minds are all closed
To the possibility of what could be
And yet our mouths are open
And out flows a constant stream
And all I hear are words
Garbled, gurbled words
No sense making
Yet conviction and diction
And all like dogs to bone
Do we run
And bark
And little tale wagging
Yes?
There's too much bullshit in this world
Too many trivialities to become entangled in
In all walks of life, on every level
From a minuscule disagreement between lovers
To a full-scale occupational invasion
There's too many trivialities,
Too much bullshit
People fail to see the bigger picture
They garble their words
And gurble their worlds
And the people cheer
For although they may not achieve anything
They are at least doing something
Useful or not; it doesn't matter
No longer can we sit and complain
No longer can we moan and groan
Sings songs, write poems,
Lose our fucking rag
We need to act
To open eyes
Open minds
And then open mouths
And not without thought
Or soon, and very soon at that,
It will be too late
There's too much bullshit in this world,
And it's time for everyone else to smell it too.
