have you seen the movie cloverfield? some of your work has a similar nostalgic element, especially with nyc as a backdrop.
i like how this shifts between a dream-like and wakeful state. some of the images work well with the music, like the scene with the photos on the wall.
i think you don't have to try as hard as you do to get the desired result, but that the attention to detail is apparent and appreciated.

,I think the album "Some People Have REal Problems" by Sia is truely and amazing album. The songs "Lentil" & "Little BLack Sandals" from this album really hit home with me.,
Film
,Just saw a really good movie called "Cassandra's Dream"
It's the kind of movie that really makes you question your own ethics and family ties. How far would you go???
Love French films! Some of my favorites are "My Best Friend","The Valet",& "Angel-A"
If you liked "The Professional" or "The Fifth Element" .. then you might be interested to know that Luc Besson (who directed these movies) also directed and produced "Angel-A",
