What can I say about work...It's aweful is probably the best way to describe it...but not awful in the way you think... actually i like my boss, i like my co-workers...and i don't even mind the commute. however, its awful in the fact that its an easy job to get complacent in. basically, my job is to sit behind a computer and watch tv all day. of course, i also write new content, handle schedules, budgets, and other things. but, for the most part, i sit behind a computer all day and watch tv.
i make good money, i have a lot of free time, and my job is very flexible. it is not creatively stimulating. i find the only time i am happy with my job is when i am doing something create, writing new script, producing new content, working with content producers to develop ideas. i don't do that very often, or at least as often as i would like, and that makes my heart hurts. every time i see a show like quarterlife it makes my heart hurt because i want to be creating content just like that. i have created content before. i have things going on...
is it a problem with us millenials, that we have to be happy with our job. my parents never said they were happy. they were happy just to have a paycheck and support their families. i feel like we are more selfish, greedy, and by becoming self-actualized we have actually become self-ish. i heard a story on 60 minutes the other day about our generation being okay living with their parents until in their 30s, about thinking adulthood did not begin until 26 or later. Do all of these things that we grew up with, thinking we're special and can conquer the world, sour us on the fact that we should work together, instead of for ourselves?
Maybe I should stop being such an asshole about my job, and embrace it as a communal activity. I'm sure my parents had dreams, wishes, aspirations, but they understood they could not conquer the world. Is the freedom of information and accessibility allowing us to think more of ourselves than we can realistically produce? Wanting to be a CEO at 30 and having the skill set to do it are two different things.
still my heart hurts...
Music
,Wow,complex question,as everyone will say. I'm into country right now,but I prefer old school country...Johnny Cash,the Jennings,Waylan and Scooter,George Strait,Alabama,etc.
I love everything though...everything that doesn't suck that is.,
Film
,Another complex question. Being a filmmaker,I am actually not a historian on film. I'm a practical filmmaker. I do watch tons of movies and television, but I couldn't tell you who directed what.
The film I directed this year was...slacker meets clerks meets love actually.

Books
,I don't get to read as much as I would like, but recently i rediscovered Catch 22. I fell into the whole DaVinci Code Fad,I won't read harry potter because I know i'll get addicted, and I'm not as big a fan of Kurt Vonnegut as my fiance. However,i do love Anthony Burgess,Candide,Chuck Palaniuk, and Daniel, not danielle, quinn.,
Artists
