So...let's see...last...Tuesday? I won an award for one of my stories, one you all should know-The Mark of the Dragonfly.

Lisa was very nice, funny, and pretty damn smart. I went out to lunch with her that day, after the recognition assembly, and it was awesome. (Also, I don't recommend chicken salad sandwiches with ketchup XP )

I got $300 for winning. Last year, the money was $500. Next year, I'm afraid how much it will be.

But here's my point: MONEY SUCKS BALLS. The cost of everything is going up-because of gas prices. It's all ridiculous. My dad's place of employent-Ford Motor Company-is basically forcing him to take retirement at age 51 because they can't afford paying him $29 an hour. He's been putting in way too much overtime, just so we can get by. This time next year? I'll be lucky if I even have a fucking cell phone.

Seriously, the world is ridiculous now. Why can't the US government just except that we need a reform, now more than ever? Yes, I realize it will take work, maybe tears, some suffering, and all sorts of misery. But this is something worth struggling for.

Has anyone ever read Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin? (Yeah, I'm a fatass so I'm trying to lose weight-deal with it). It talks all about how milk is a multimillion dollar industry, and how corrupt food regulation companies and etc. are. It's fucking bullshit-ALL OF IT. They are so damned corrupt that innocent people are getting sick because other greedy bastards are mass producing souped up cows and chickens and all that bullshit. It's disgusting.

Back to him, but my dad may have to work 2 jobs, just to get the same pay he's been getting for 30 years! It's too damned ridiculous.

We don't even have enough money for me to get a fucking splint for a fractured pinky of mine. The world is so ridiculous and full of greedy disgusting bastards, I hate it all. Send me somewhere you can't see, smell, hear or ingest anything from modern civilization. Let me live in the fucking woods for all I care.

I'm not having kids. I'm not letting them grow up into a world that will probably be worse than what it is now. FUCK IT.

geese. i totally agree with you. you sound like one of my friends. she has to keep moving because her parents cant afford their house and their family is all split up. it sucks so much. i wish we didnt have money. like what if people still traded stuff? how cool would that be?
