Bathroom Stall Affirmation photo series

I just needed to upload these photos and share them here; there are seven of them and they should be viewed in order, even if that's not how they appear in my portfolio but they're numbered. Sorry for the not great quality; they were taken with my camera phone because it's what I had with me. Here's my side of the story of the photos:

Around 8:45 a.m. this morning, shortly after I arrived on campus, I went to use the bathroom; the first thing I noticed when I entered the middle stall was writing on the wall, the words (in what appears to be permanent marker): Everything will be ok.
Now, I don't know who wrote this, when, or why but for some reason it touched me that someone had wrote that on the wall, whether it was a reminder for them or if they thought that someone would need to read that. I just knew that I had to get a couple of pictures of it and post them here.

A little later in the day (maybe around 12:30 p.m.) I checked the stall to see if the message had been cleaned off and it hadn't but I could see the the ink had been slightly smudged.

Around 3:20 p.m. after I got out of my Chem lab I went back to the bathroom and the stall and that's when I saw that someone had written in pen or pencil (I couldn't tell): Thank you
Those words really meant something to someone (other than me) and I wonder if the author has had a chance or will have a chance to see that their words have truly touched someone before the custodial staff cleans it off.

I'd love to know who wrote the original message and who it was that responded. I'd love to know the stories behind why they each felt compelled to write on a bathroom stall wall. I know that when it comes right down to it that it was technically an act of vandalism but I highly doubt that it was meant as such.

Everything will be ok.
Thank you

Pretty damn cool! I always wondered though, who carries around sharpies with them to the bathroom?
