Lesson Number Two

Lesson #2: Take time off for yourself, be selfish. You can't grow up with others around to hold you back. I just took a year off of guys, stress (well tried), work, and money (not by choice though ) and it has been the best year of my life. I thought I was in love and I really was but because I was I could not see how much I was holding myself back from doing the things I wanted to do. I think there comes a point in life where we have to be selfish, not care about anyone else but ourselves. A flower can't grow and extend its roots if other flowers' roots are in the way. You have to grow apart in order to grow. It's not gonna be easy, I'm not saying it will, to separate from people you love. But believe that after a while it will get easier.

sister you hit the nail on its head!!! Separation is indeed what helps a person develop who they are truly to become. I recently JUST left my garden...and have learned so much.. and yes while I do miss home.. there is much to gain in being selfish for a bit..and living life for once.. just for me.
