Today at School
Feb 06, 2008 - 11:54 AM PST
Today at school, one of my classes-
Framework 1300-50 was canceled
for the entire semester, due to a
lack of student enrollments.
Now, for the journey across the street to
math class,
where heavy rain drops pound the
seemingly ambitious students. I can't
help but think the weather is trying
to ruin my good fortune I just read
about Framework 1300-50.
As I waited in class, cold, wet, but happy,
I looked behind me and decided to chat up a hot,
short-haired
brunette, that was making a mess on her table
with pencil shavings.
I told her about the stray dog I recently
adopted,
trying to get
an ahhhhhhh reaction that didn't come.
Does she
think I'm ugly?
I asked myself.
After class, I walked to my car, again,
cold, wet
but happy.
I was trying to figure out the brunette's
name, after
the teacher
gave the roll call.
Kate? Lauren? Amanda?
I will step it up a notch on Wednesday, pay
attention to the roll call,
take a picture of my new dog on my cell phone,
and show it to Kate,
Lauren, or Amanda.
Finally reaching my car, I see a blue rectangle
piece of paper
between my windshield wipers that reads
"warning, you cannot
park here without a validated student parking ID."
The weather must have pissed off the security
guards today
who wanted to enjoy a nice sunny day with their
families possibly,
but instead, frustration was taken out on me through
a blue piece of paper.
