A Poem for Jeff

Jul 05, 2008 - 15:26 PM PST

There once was a boy Named Jeff,

Jeff was different from the other boys,

While they would play Hide and Seek,

He would draw pictures in the dirt.

Jeff was very different,

In fact when he went to church,

All he could do was look at the stained glass windows.

He didn’t care about the preacher, cross, or being pure,

Jeff just wanted to make something like the stained glass,

Minus the Jesus part.

Jeff was made fun of,

Because he had all sorts of hobbies,

Likes,

Dislikes,

But, he would always tell you the truth.

No sugar coating for Jeff,

Just straight to the point,

Like a cup of black coffee.

He wasn’t scared to tell you,

If you looked fat,

If you smelled bad,

Or if you were annoying.

Oh, But, Now,

This poem must come to an end,

Poor Jeff,

Must now go back to the world of differences,

And all you boys and girls must now go back to bed.
