I'm working on... Getting through school while working full time, planning a road trip from San Diego to San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway for a week next spring, learning to cook vegan style, learning to take more chances, becoming more politically/economically/socially aware, making photography a more serious hobby, and paying off my car loan. Among other things.

Thanks! I actually did the t-shirt design because I wanted something cool to wear to an Andrew Bird concert. He does a lot of stuff with old horn amplifiers and phonographs, so I decided to come up with my own shirt. It was cool, but I only got to wear it once before the dryer destroyed it :(

Nothing Gold Can Stay
by Robert Frost

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I love Robert Frost's poetry. His writing is simple, honest, it's how he observed the world around him. What I get from this poem is to enjoy right now. To live every moment because they go so fast. A blink of the eye. I find this poem comforting to read in my quarterlife. I find myself stressing so much about what the future may hold for me that I sometimes miss right now. I read this poem and it reminds me to slow down and enjoy right now because no time in my life will ever be like this again. Wether that be better or worse. It reminds me of a quote from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it."
