The Last 2 Months

So, things with the production company have been getting crazy! We had a partner not showing up to meetings, name change issues, and a new production. Well, the first one we took care of Behind the Scenes. No point in throwing our dirty laundry in the street.

The name change was successful. Now we need to file the LLC to reflect that (DiRT Films is the new name). Once we get a logo created, we'll build the website.

That brings me to the production. We recently shot a short film that I wrote called "Almost Heroes". It's about a desperate teenager who is in love with a girl that has no idea who he is. He devises a plan to get her attention so he can talk to her, and all goes well, until the plan backfires at the most inopportune time.

The shoot went well. We managed to squeeze it all into 2 days, which was probably a bit rushed, but it's al the time we had to work with. We got a great location, had some mic issues and unfortunately we are going to have to either use what we have or do voice-over audio cuts (not my choice, but I am not the editor). the actors did their best, especially since some were not trained actors. We are going to be putting some outtake clips online within the next few days, so that should be funny. Hopefully you check out the clips and enjoy them enough to want to check out the entire short.
