About me

I am a simple guy who tries to observe more than speak. I am constantly steeping back from all the situations I'm in, analyzing the situation from a learning perspective. I try to learn from my mistakes, but I do seem to fall back into old habits once in a while.

I am a photographer, and I try to capture the world and pin it into an image. It is not a tough job, rather it is a big responsibility.

I am a businessman, and I operate a business called Innovative Studios. If anyone is interested in working at a reputable studio as a graphic artist, web designer, or photographer, drop me a line.

Interests

Music

,I like just about anything, from opera to rock, but there are a few genres of music I can't stand: Country Western and Death Metal,

Film

,The Island,Mr. and Mrs. Smith,I Robot,The Matrix,Beuwolf,Mr. Bean's Holiday,The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything,I Am Legend,Jumper,Step Up 2 The Streets.,

Books

,I am an avid reader, but I really don't have time to post all the books I like. Allow me to summarize: I like books that contain intellectually stimulating content.,

Artists

,I am inspired by photographical pioneers like Walker Evans, and my inspiration for my field of photography is Glen Johnson.,

Thanks to both of you for the kind words. I went into photography with a sketcher's eye, and it developed from there, jstriby. Jamie, give me your email and I'll send you the original.

You know, I was thinking of editing the lone pigeon on the ground out of the picture. Thoughts?

Thanks Elysia. I took this in downtown Vancouver while looking for my towed car. I guess it was a hidden blessing that my ride got towed, otherwise I would have never come across this back-alley building. I also had to edit out a powerline from this picture...can you tell?

haha no I actually did not read your about me until you said that. I would say it's not so much loving every person you see, but excepting them for who they are and embracing the differences. You do that and it shows through your work. How long have you been taking pictures?

I would have to say every time you look at someone or something, you almost put yourself in their shoes which makes your shots that much better. I heard the wise say less. Photography's great because it is all about the angle at which you capture it. You have a unique style that shows your an observer with a open mind, and you appreciate the beauty in the world.

This shots awesome, all the facial expressions are too good to be true. The black and white is contradicting and makes u really look. I like it, the color copy would be cool to see. I like your angle on life, it really shows through your photography.

Yep, this in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It's a gorgeous sunset that I had to capture. I was blessed to have ahd a Canon 30D DSLR, and I belive I used a 70-200mm lens. I was standing on my mound of dirt that I usually go to in order to watch the sunset, and pray. I say those clouds, and I was sure glad I had brought my camera pack with me! I try to take a camera of some sort wherever possible.
