Even in these simpler photos, something is translated that still makes you feel stunned when you first see them. You make their eyes come alive, it seems like you really pull out their personalities through them. It just makes them feel honest, like this is how these people really look. Their beauty is not at all contrived, and while its obviously posed, its also natural. You've got a really great talent for capturing honest emotion. Truly awesome work.

Friday night thoughts...

I'm an artist. I think I've finally come to that settling conclusion. I've wondered for some time if I truly was an artist. But now. For no particular reason. I feel like an artist.
I've got an itch lately to always be creating something. It's gotten in the way of relationships, family, work ... but I've been producing some really cool stuff.
I will still always question if I am an artist.
And I'll always question if my questions make me more or less than an artist.
And I'll always second guess my emotions, and claims, and art, and talent.
But ... doesn't that make me an artist too?
Self destruction.
Turmoil.
Love.
Happiness.
It's all coming in and then all coming out in the shape of art.
I'm finally a true artist.
Sometimes I hope people find my stuff after I'm dead and try to interpret them.
Then I hope I can hear how they interpret it so I can hear what people think.
"Well he painted this because he was sad..." ??? are you sure about that?
