What will the future hold? (poem)

my mind keeps going round and round
i slow down to stay on the ground

confusion takes me to another place
pain is stricken all over my face

where am i now and where will i go
is there a plan for me yet... i guess i'll never know

as my time goes by, i'll see what's in store
if there is nothing, i'll just search for more

someday, somehow there will be a change
and when that day comes... things won't be so strange
