This is for the women who cares
To dare to compare with Mother Mary
And succeeds with every burden you carry
The long nights nursing and soothing your baby
Teaching and nurturing because you\'re a swell lady
Patiently coddling the toddler\'s terrible twos\' boo hoos
Enjoying each learned skill as if they were new news.

Raising this teen with a sheer sheen of beaming pride
Taking each stride that collides with each passing tide
Because he or she is worth the arduous task of passage
In the hopes that this child will soon bear the message
Of living life to the fullest and to not forget
That your mother was there before anyone you\'ve met
Giving you sustenance through the cord of life
And with you through every toil and bit of strife.

I love my mother with every fiber of my being
And display that affection for your viewing
Because without her the balance would surely tumble
My life would most verily be in shambles
So to bring this poetic thread to a nice finish
