So i know this post is probably old and I have missed out on giving advice on what to do... because by this time you've already either did or didn't act on it... SO UPDATES!! what happened? did you guys go out?

umm... i think the reward is greater than the risk. the real best case scenario is when you have a better time at work. haven't you seen "sports night" or "studio 60 on the sunset strip"? and if it doesn't turn out well, you can recover from that, right? i would go for it.

Generally, I think that dating a coworker is a bad idea. I know that it works for some people and that's great but keep in mind that gossip being what it is, people are going to be in your business so much more. Whatever you decide, you should at least hit up the friendship angle then maybe see if something else might really be there. And make sure that you're both looking for the same thing; it's one thing to have fun but what's the point if it may eventually cause some bad feelings and tension at work, right? Good luck.

I have told myself, time and time again that I will never date or get involved w/ anyone I work w/ and yet it never ceases to amaze me that it just keeps on happening, and it had always ended badly...I don't think it's such a great idea unless you're really sure...I don't know wat to tell you b/c honestly I should be taking my own advice about this very thing right now, and I'm not and sorta am at the same time although the line was already crossed and it's really difficult to just take it back now sooooo what am I suppossed to do...OMG I was suppossed to be giving you advice...I ended up just rambling about my own crap, I'm so sorry, okay just gonna stop typing now I think that would be good...lol :) I don't know follow your heart, although that can get you into trouble...guh I don't know...wait didn't I say I was goig to stop typing okay now for real this time I'm stopping
