A little info about creative people

Mar 06, 2008 - 19:31 PM PST

I am currently doing some market research for a project I am developing and came across a little bit of information about creative people. I want to make it clear that I am not a researcher and that I did not do a extremely in depth search on this information and, lastly, that it is not presented here in any real professional manner. I just thought I would post it up because I thought, overall, this list of common traits of creative people was interesting. So read on and see how you relate.

For the most part it's right on for me ... aside from the self-discipline and the tendency to assume I cannot be improved. There's always room for improvement, for sure! Cool list. Thanks for posting!

i don't know where this came from but my dad sent it to me in an email... it also says something about creative people:

"More CEOs have graduated from Princeton than any other school. And this grand dame of the Ivy League doesn’t permit undergrads to major in business. That may be because it offers virtually no business courses. So how does it cultivate CEOs? Because it germinates romantics. By this, I mean young men and women who read poetry, contemplate art, study architecture, drink too much, read Catcher In The Rye 100 times. They are the dreamers. They are the ones who come up with every earth-changing idea"

Pretty interesting list, actually. I see a lot that seem to fit and a few telling ones that I wish I had more of...like self discipline, and, and, and...sorry I was daydreaming there for a minute.
