HypocracyFeb 25, 2008 - 19:54 PM PST I see life through an interesting eye. I always seem to see contradictions and hypocrisies, even in myself. Take political philosophy. Communism claims to support all the members of a society, but the entire Communist system forgets that individuals need to feel appreciated and accomplished in order to continue working. At the same time, our system of a Democratic Republic has succumb to the desires of those with power to have more power. Even when a politician claim to be helping us, he or she believes that he or she is better able to serve us than the next guy because he is just better. What's more, this politician usually serves to better his own ends and needs. Even so, any solution that is proposed to deal with these problems does so at the rejection of the philosophies already present. While my statements are very cynical, I understand that any solution I propose will, by its very nature, be hypocritical because I will be proposing a philosophy at the rejection of others. Maybe life is just full of hypocrisies... |
