I don't want my heart anymore, all it does is break

I never cry but my heart hurts the same, when you play me for a fool I still feel the pain. I am tired of hurting, I am tired of trying, I am tired of smiling just to keep myself from crying. What makes you think that I don't mind your games? What made me think that you'd actually change?

I am tired of being alone, I just want to be loved, like everyone around me who has someone they trust. I want to give my heart away, I want to earn one in return, I want to find love someday and not watch it burn.

Old Davy Jones sure got it right, when he cut out his heart and locked it up tight. What good is a heart when it leads you astray? When the love that you offer gets thrown away. My heart's damaged goods, it's been twisted and used. Why would someone want something that's been sp abused?
