I have a severe case of Ordinary-itis!

So this is something that's been on my mind lately. Have any of you ever read a really good book or seen and amazing movie where the main character is just a normal person, around your age, and they just have the most amazing things happening to them, or maybe not even the most amazing things but they just handle things in an amazing way. Or there's something about them that makes it seem like its all happening, and then you sit back and look at the way you live your life and it just seems SO ordinary? I mean, of course, probably everyone has felt that. But every time that happens to me I get so frustrated and I would do anything to be that kind of person. And you can always pick them out in a crowd: the ones who are just different and everything about them is amazing. I don't know. How do you make your life like that? Or how do you know of your life is like that? Do you have to be a social outcast? I don't know...this whole thing has felt like a jumble of unorganized thoughts. I'm sorry I can't ever seem to take what I'm thinking and write it down. I think that if you're that kind of person, you're probably born that way, and some of us are doomed to live ourlives out like a boring pop song with everyone singing along...

unfortunatly the events or persona's of book or movie characters are nothing more then a figment of an artist's imagination. a perfect example is Charlie, the teenager that the book The Perks of being a Wallflower is based around. the book was specificly written to be completly ordinary, to reflect more growing up and less conflict. yet every word, every letter has its own personality, that makes every event, action, or reaction extraordinary. unfortunatly the only thing that can actually make things amazing, is ourselves. your life doesn't have to be a boring pop song, unless you make it that way. don't martyr your life, its ultimatly up to you to make it interesting. and i suggest reading the Perks of being a Wallflower, it sounds like some inspiration you could use.
