i started a war

so i know this couple who has worked to create a new night in the club i enjoy going to. it was 80's nigh which played good music, everyone who had been to 80s night misses it. They play techno now and that's about it. i was asked by one of my friends to create a myspace forum "bring back 80s night" so i did. now the DJ is mad at me "i'll be out of a job, and i worked hard for that night" i've never seen more than 100 people there, while on other nights it's sold out! seriously i really don't care if the DJ wants to be mad at me, i was friends with his wife, but she'll stop talking to me. i told people to go, but i warnedthem about the total control of techno.. he says "my other nights sell out and the number of people doubled since we started this night" umm yeah i'm pretty sure with or without my forum the club won't change the night, i just want to make a point in saying that techno is good for a song every now and again, but a whole 4 hours (give or take) is a little redundant. I usually leave early, and i never have a great time.

so the moral of the story is, your opinions mean nothing to a DJ if he does it for the money rather than to have fun and make fans....

sorry if you love techno and i just offended you, but an opinions like assholes, everyone's got one.
