Imprints...Jun 26, 2008 - 22:47 PM PST Is it such a big goal to want to change the world? No, not someone's world. Not "the world of a child." I don't want to just make a difference to 1 person or to twenty people. I want people to hear me. I want my ideas to be seen and internalized. Is that too much to ask? I want to get up in front of the world and point out the obvious. I want to take some politician and slap them. I want to get in front of some brainwashed "artsy types" who do what's fashionable and think they have their own belief system and tell them that they are diluted. I want to teach people how to use their own brain, how to have their own opinions I want to have ideas that people value and I want people to value them. I want to be an expert on everything, but I don't need to be. I want to open people up to hearing what's out there I want people to disagree with me because they thought about it and decided that their opinions differ from mine I want the world to be diversified not based on color or gender or race, but by thinking individuals who have their own perspectives I want people to know how much they can bring to the table I want people to understand that I'm a cynic, but that I have so much faith in the potential of humankind. I want to follow through on things I want to have a dream And I want to work hard to achieve it I want to be someone I want people to know it Is that too much to ask? |
