Is it weird that...

Mar 01, 2008 - 23:06 PM PST

I can be myself and let out all of my true feelings, ideas, perspectives on life, thoughts on love, and what not to total strangers, but to my friends I put on a total facade of someone who is ditzy and dumb? Am I a conformist for claiming to be a non-conformist? What makes me so different from the common cheerleader type? What makes me me? Am I strange for asking these questions, or am I just another one of those girls who acts deep and dark for attention? Tell Me Please.

No its not weird. It's the same reason why people go to counsellors/ thearpists. They don't know you, your history, your skeltons, so they can't judge you. And most of the people on Quarterlife think a like. Relateable, creative, and interesting people. That's why we're here.

I totally relate. Entirely. Completely. If I ever tried to delve into my deeper thoughts with any of my 'close' friends, I'm sure they would smack me over the head. It doesn't make you two faced or wrong or anything; it's just that you show different sides of you based on your comfort levels. You'll find yourself if you keep opening up and searching yourself-- you don't have to rely on other people to decide for you!

no its because you feel people you dont know wont judge you as harshly and even if they do it wont matter because you dont truly know them. and no the question thing is normal i do the exact same thing.
