Last Call

He fell asleep in the hospital bed
He never thought that he'd end up dead.

Mom and Pops were trying to bring him back to life, but the healing wasn't working, and his heart rate was slowly going.

He was a good kid.
Never started nothing
But the others couldn't stand him, so they plotted to destroy him.

So, after school, he was walking with his friends, and they grabbed him by the hand, then the others rushed up in.
Two young men, then went for their guns, the others began to run, but the victim was just stunned.

Shots fired like a highschool drumline
The boy layed on the ground, why the ambulance came by.

Stretcher holding weight, EMTs losing faith, tears running down their face, while the boy fades away.

It's kinda hard trying to look me in the face, when my soul is already in it's place.

Sadly enough, there is no Round 2, the men were never caught, and they still attend school.
Mom and Pops still grieve till this day, they cry so much, that the pain never goes away.

Seems like yesterday when they taught him how to crawl
but today is not yesterday...it became his Last Call.
