Like Dying,
Like this life ain't mine and
time just ain't on my side.

Like confusion,
Like seclusion,
Like a sudden intrusion inside my heart,
that tries to hold on to that part
that was
So true,
Like new
Like you, like few
I don't know what to do, I have absolutely no clue.

Like right was wrong,
Like wrong was right,
Like being too scared to sleep at night,
The uncertainty, it worries me,
Should I hide? Should I fight?

Like a caged bird who wants to be free,
Like wondering what tomorrow may bring,
There's just some things I've seen,
That don't add up
Like they used to be.

Like the stakes are too high,
to just say goodbye,
but I wonder why,
Like questions, with no answers.
