Love and Loyalty

currently, as im writing this entry
i feel torn and stuck in the middle of a situation
a situation based on love, loyalty, and frendship

wen you are frends with a couple
where
the female is like ur sister and the male is one of ur bestfrends
who do u remain loyal too??
well i chose the male
but did i make the wrong decision

here's the sitch
between my frends aka the couple...
the female here has been cheating on the male for a year
the male, though some of his frends tried to warn him, he didnt believe it
he chose to believe his girlfrend over everyone else
and she made sure to lie to him about everything she was doing
even though he was in college, and slipped up a few times by kissing other gurls
his girlfrend had been goin behind his back and having sex with other guys

now here is where i come in

he came to me asking me for the truth
he knew that since she and i were like sisters that i knew everything n he cud trust me
thus, i was faced with a dilemma who do i stay loyal too
do i remain loyal to her, and keep the secrets that she told me
or do i remain loyal to him, one of my bestfrends, and tell him watz been goin on

well i chose him

i told him wat i kno, he now knos the truth, wen i told him he actually cried
he loved her so much
how cud i let him go on
now she is a little upset wit me because she cared for him
but she never showed it and he deserved so much more
thus, that relationship ended

my bond with him i now tighter than ever
and though my bond with has weakened slightly
i still feel as though i did the right thing

but was that the right thing to do??
