The heat and passion of my Lover Years
Met hard with age and ageing’s worldly fears

Fire and ice entwine
Slow thick steam makes grey the air
Muscles seize like magma.

Longing, lie bent up,
Await what I can summon
You, patient, are rock.

For all my longing for your pleasured sighs
Time takes the crown from my Lover’s Prize.

Wintered bare, love lays
Still, with hearts alone we share
Soft and tender shocks.

Is this the end or just the end of passion?
Well, Time may break the body; but my heart?
