Lucid Imagination

Oct 03, 2008 - 19:38 PM PST

There's been a habit I've attained lately, and its flicking lightswitches. I watched a movie recently involving lucid dreaming, called Waking Life. If you having a hard time believing its a dream, flick the nearest lightswitch, or look at a clock. If no light changes or you cant see the time, your likely dreaming. From there, you can do anything in it. The sky is the limit.

Sadly, there's no lucid dreaming. The habit I've developed has made me realize that what I'm doing is not really a bad dream, but reality. Shit. Mop a floor, flip bathroom lights. Check out clock on phone, 8:30 am. Wander and wander around, silent. Yep, it's real.

Immediately, I head home for a good nap. 3 hours, perhaps. Work somehow took over my dream. But I was walking around silent again, and i flipped a switch. Hang on....nothing changed. Oh, it's on like Donkey Kong. No more work clothes, I was in some heroic pirate getup. Jack Sparrow-esque. Ninja-like too. I jumped everywhere. No killing, I recall. At least not from me. How Pontius-Pilate of my dream self. I also decided to add in some Korean henchmen. They're loyal, and most are still pirates to this day; seemed good to me. There was one part I remember vividly, and it was the final battle. I gave a final speech while standing on the checkstands, and my Korean henchmen lined up in front of me, and i jump back and forth between the checkstands, each turning on to each one i go to. My speech was blurred, since it wasn't a movie after all. but one thing that was clear was when i pointed at the boss i hated the most, and called her a bitch of a bitch. From there, the henchmen went off to fight the fellow employees.

"Wake up!" my phone alarm is telling me as it plays that dumb ringtone. Oh look, it's still gray and wet outside......
