Don't kill me, but I'm an English professor, so tweaked some comma and spelling things..........again, this was really good. It's scary to read something to mature from someone so young...good angst...good talent.


Time is only an object in her eyes.
She races through its endless vortex,
never realizing that it won't always be forever.
Falling hard onto the pavement, she finally opens her eyes.
What has she become? A monster of herself.
Too frightened to move forward, she is stuck,
frozen to the ground, but time still rushes forward.
Time is no longer an object she realizes.
But by now, it has all slipped through her fingertips.
Now she has nothing except the monster
she created.
