ok, so i like listening to music, but i really am ashamed of the artists my generation has grown to like. sometimes my friends will be singing a song and they'll be like "sing with us!" but i don't know the song because it is written by some crapy artist who's names i wont mention in case any of my friends see this blog. i like old stuff, bob dylan, crosby stills and nash, neil young, i like country, sugarland, dixie chicks, and more. yet, i can really see who my friends are when i hear them singing. sometimes i think they are just shallow people who will go for whoever is popular just so they can be cool. oh well, if only i were a baby boomer or like a hippie or something. think about how exciting life would be! i think my generation lives a preppy life and is expected to succsed (if i could spell the stupid word!) ando don't really like it.
