My First Blog

So this is the first time I've ever written a blog. I don't quite know how it's supposed to go but I guess I'll just type. My name is Liz and I go to school in St. Louis but home is Ohio. I am traveling to London in a few weeks to study there with my friends. Film production is my major and it's full of surprises. I hope to move out to LA someday. But right now I am just trying to get through school and have some fun.

Anyway, here's something that's been on my mind. It feels like I have to have all the answers right now. Like the sooner we figure stuff out the better we're going to be. But in reality, I know that's not really true. I am only 19, there's so much to discover. I just need to take my time. But some degree of direction is good, right? I don't know. I guess I don't need to grow up quite yet, I should just try to have fun and be young.

I also need to remember that I can make mistakes because that's the only way we grow. As a family friend once told me, "The only way you learn is if you get C's in school."
