No that it matters...

Dec 15, 2007 - 10:06 AM PST

I just wanted to take ten minutes today and write in my blog...which I have neglected ever since I found this site. However, I dont think anyone will read this so it doesn't really matter.

I have decided I officially hate everyone in love. No seriously.
"I think I'm in love Desi"
"Does he really love me"
"I love you why would you do this"
"I just love him/her"
"I found the one"

I hear this shit all day, but I dont believe one syllable.

If love is so mysterious and perfect and unknown then it should stay that way. None of this I know so I'll tell the whole nation crap. NO! If you were really in love you wouldn't have to say it. You know why? Because love is a feeling, not a quote.

When someone says there in love it is because they need to hear it themselves, to reassure themselves. I have felt a couple in love, I walked by and there were soo many feelings/emotions conflicting and bouncing off one another, but you could smell the happiness and I knew.

There is somethng about love and hate that is so appealing to Americans today.....why? Because the media wants us to focus on it? Because we need something hopeful in our lives?

Just think about it...if you've ever felt love...did you say it, or was it just understood?

I totally agree with you !I think that when you are really in love you are so "strange" and happy that telling someone you are in love is the last thing you would do...as you said it was understood!
the word "love" doesn't have the same meaning anymore..."love" is like a candy now .you give it to anyoneand I don't think this is a good thing because now love is confused with like, sometimes you like someone and you think you love him/her but love is something mysterious and when you are in love you understand it..

i agree with you so nuch that its crazy. the very word alone is used way too often to even come close to scratching the surface of the true meaning of love. the word "love" no longer carries the meaning of deep admiration for someone but is more commonly used as an excuse where im from : "oh, i dont want to leave her because i love her so much". bull shit. your just scared of facing the world without her or scared to be alone. so in conclusion i do believe that true love does exist but not as many of us would think of it to be, but as the unspoken worryless utopian feeling thet most of us have yet to experience.

I don't think there is anything wrong with saying it out loud. . .as long as it is understood as well. Actions, after all, speak louder than words. The problem is that people are so quick to jump to "love" without knowing what it really is. (see Marriage, 50% failure rate of). I never say it just to say it. Saying it doesn't create it. Saying it should just describe what is already there.

love is more of an action id say. but i understand what you mean. i was in love and i was afraid to say it even. b/c then it was out there on the winds and everyone could manipulate it. love shouldnt be spoken. it should be lived out. ha. i like the bit about smelling happiness. ha.
