Not dead yet! Gathering update.

Ok so I haven’t put anything in my portfolio in quite a while so I thought I might want to let you all know that I am still alive. It was great to get as much of the response that I got from you guys in my absence and I really appreciate the support that all of you have given me on my current situations. I know that the time that it says that I post this will probably be some time around noon tomorrow. Just to let you know that I actually wrote this blog around 3 in the morning due to my inability to sleep. Its not that I am not tired because trust me when I say I am totally expurgated from school on Monday. I had 3 consecutive classes yesterday so I was at my college from 7 in the morning to 9:30 at night. I need to sleep but because of my stress filled body even when I lay down and try to go to bed I find myself stuck in my head thinking about all the things that I have to do within this next month. Let me list all the things that I am in need of doing in this time frame in chronological order:

1. find a job
2. sell my car
3. Persuade my father to cosign for my student loans so I don’t get kicked out of school and have the past year of college be a total waste of time.
4. scrounge up a hundred bucks to keep the debt collector from my previous car from garnishing wages or taking me to court.
5. scrounge up another $140 to pay off the fee for my bank account being overdrawn (I still have no idea how that one happened)
6. work my hands to the bone to get above a 3.0 gpa this quarter so that I am no longer on academic probation due to my shitty grades last quarter.

Wow… after writing that down it doesn’t look so bad. But it definitely is easier said than done. But here’s something insightful that my mom told me:

Now you see where my weird analogies of imperfect pennies and dirty kitchens of life come from.

Ok on to my move to my new apartment and new roommates. Its pretty cool hear. Two of the roommates are not only brothers but they are also identical twins. They are really laid back and are a blast to hang out with. I mean im not going to go doing personal vlogs in their presents just because I like to do have that be between me and the other hundreds of people on this site lol. However i may now and then have a vlog with them in it just talking about a certain topic. The other roommate unfortunately is not like the other two. The guy that I am rooming with is a total pain. He’s one of those people that you try to avoid talking to because trying to have a decent discussion with him is impossible. He is a compulsive liar and also unable to stay within the topic that is being talked about. Not only that but he is messy as all hell. From what I experienced yesterday he apparently is also clingy. He knew the twins (the other two roommates) though a group of D&D players at the college ( Im not a fan of the game but I don’t judge people on what kind of board games they play). He requested to be roommates with the twins because they were friendly to him at one of their meetings. Now he is doing the same thing to me. I had a choice between 2 different apartment but the other apartment was disgusting as all hell. It was scattered with food that was molding and smelled worst than a manure pile. So I chose where I am now. Me and this guy I am rooming with moved in at the same time and just because we are roommates he automatically thinks we are best friends. I was having a discussion with some people yesterday and out of nowhere he butted into the conversation thinking that he could just start a new topic. I really don’t get along with people who are unable to know proper manners and conversation skills.

Ok I think I ranted enough for tonight. Im gonna try one more time to get to bed and I am gonna hope for the best. I am still unable to get vlogs up yet so I am really sorry guys but I will find a way I promise. As for the gathering of southern California members of quarterlife, I am still pumped to do this but I need ideas and schedules of availability for the summer and fall seasons. I’ll get back to you on more details of some of the things that I am thinking about but it’s a team effort. Hope to hear back from you guys
