Ocean of Time

Wow, its been a long time. I didn't realize how long until now. Funny how that is. Time I mean. They say that time cures and kills. Well, maybe "they" don't say that, but I do. For me time seems to be seeping into the ground but no bright colored lily or rose bush is coming from it. It just seems to dissolve into nowhere. Where does time go when it passes? Does it flow into some type of cosmic sea like a river into the ocean? Once it gets there, I'll bet it doesn't flow at all, but just gets moved and tossed amidst the billions of past moments of each individual life. My childhood swims somewhere next to the midlife crisis of a medieval man. Soon, pieces of the ocean of time will evaporate into clouds of inevitability and rain onto someone's future. That must be why history always repeats itself. I'll make sure to remember to smile to you when my death's droplets dance with your birth.
