on that New Years thing

Im feeling....fnvSgisgogosbgf
ok so its a bunch of emotions all thrown together to feel like blah+anxiety+happy+sad+excitement+...etc etc
New Years resolutions are not hard, but they all seem so fake.
My usual is be more efficient and be more reliable.
This is mostly just bull I throw out there. I really DO want to accomplish these things but I always end up messing it up and trying something else, or just forgetting by Feburary.
Do all resolutions need to be sooo serious. At New Years dinner I don't want to stand up and say "I would liek to party harder, experiement with new things and people, and be able to do more shots than I ever had in previous years"...
Sooo that might be a might bit drastic, but do you see the picture im panting?
I feel like people look down on you if you dont have a serious resolution...Am i the only one that feels put under the microscope when people ask "What are your New YEars reslutions?"

I don't think it's a problem to have a new years resolution that might not be a bit less serious or a lot less serious than another's. Honestly, I don't think you should care so much what other people think about you or what's going on in your mind. If you want to be able to drink more, party harder and experiment with new people and new things than you have in the previous years, I say more power to ya! But remember there are always consequences to your actions and not all of them may be bad or good. In any case, it's your life and you only live once! So go all out girl! I don't know you at all really, but this is my honest view point of it. I see "the picture your painting" and I know where you're coming from with that. Life would be a lot easier for all of us if we could all be REAL with each other. So why do we put ourselves through the mess of sugar coating everything? Just so the person next to us won't think lowly of us? WHO GIVES A CARE WHAT THEY THINK!? I know I don't! So why should you? I hope I'm not coming off harshly but hey, have fun with life. Not everything should be serious, otherwise we're missing the big picture of a BIG PART of our lives. Kindda like sleep. IF we're meant to sleep 1/3 of our lives, the other 2/3's should consist of more care free fun and less serious issues in my opinion. Sorry to have chattered your ears off, but does this help at all?

You shouldn't feel put under the microscope. The majority of resolutions are not kept, which makes me think that they weren't made in earnest to begin with. Any worthwhile resolution made during New Year's should also be able to be made at any time during the rest of the year. You shouldn't resolve to do something just because we've completed another orbit around the sun. That seems rather contrived to me.
