Peas eat Sticks

The Lima-bean,
So smooth, so supple,
Is pliable yet firm.

I lack the fancy,
Nay the knack,
To masticate this
Germ. For every bean
I've ever met I say
This unto ye,"
My teeth, well they
Are full of holes,
Just like the truth."

And so it went, the bean
Lived on: supple, smooth
And firm.
As far as mastication
Goes, my teeth are
Full of holes.
