Remembering too much, knowing too little

Mar 03, 2008 - 16:16 PM PST

Stuck in a state of confusion
Lacking knowledge, yet innately aware
Concepts of creation just beyond reach
A feeble mind attempts to piece together theories that reveal too little
Theories thrown together by others lack of memory
Everyone knew, yet no one can completely recall
Scattered parts of past lives dangle within
As if to say,” Here is the answer, here is the key”
Mental blocks limit possibilities
The purpose of seeking is as mysterious as the answers being sought
To give our existence meaning, we fruitlessly fill in the gaps
Rubbish takes the form of religion
Passed down and thrust upon unsuspecting minds
One man’s ideas becomes another man’s faith
Acceptances of biased perceptions ease the fear of dying

Have I read this before? This is everything we have talked about summed up so neatly and pointing directly to the confusion while feeling as if the answer is right on the tip of your tongue. I love this one!
