"if love be rough with you...be rough with love" what does that even mean? i mean i love this man i think he was brilliant. ive taken alot of my time to study his work...especially romeo and juliet...its my favorite. but what does he really mean? cause god love is always rough with me and im only 18. how can i really fight back? is that even possible? im not strong enough. i never have been! thats why i let my first boyfriend beat me up until freshman year of high school when i realized jesus christ im 14 years old! this should not be happening! then i stayed with a guy off and on for four more years only to have him find new and innovative ways to break my heart even worse then any other. so how do i fight with something like that? its like saying fight fire with fire. god that doesnt even fucking make sense! i wish i was thick skinned and i could just take it and keep taking it cause im young and im sure theyll be others to treat me like shit. but i really dont know if i can. so mr. shakespear do you got some other words of wisdom?
