Smolder...

Apr 03, 2008 - 21:50 PM PST

And I scream for you in these moments of silence
Defined of our rejection
And in your perfection
I ignore
Searching the unrelenting moment
For something to make sense
Having lost enough time to forget
Why
I was
Here
Eyes divert and we grow
Tired
Heavy with pretend
Swimming in suits
Made
Uniform
Stretching
Rules we didn’t
Listen
A character in a play
Shut to the masses
Too disturbing
For
The cast
Scalding emotion
Left to smolder
Inside scorched beyond repair
Pretend takes control until the moment
Where we believe
Our own
Lies…jle

there is this sense of contradiction to me in this poem... something tragic and kind of self-destructive...

i totally dig it : )
